Mom Puts it All in Perspective

My mom called yesterday and was nice enough to point out that as of today, I'm no longer able to refer to myself as being in my early forties.
<heavy sigh>
Unfortunately, I was completely unprepared and had no snappy comeback for that. A rare occurrence.
Birthdays just don't do it for me anymore.
