My baby sister Billie gave birth to her second beautiful daughter, Jayme Nicole, this afternoon. Everything went very smoothly and both mother and daughter are doing very well.
If I were to write everything I wanted to write right now, it would likely end up filling several chapters of a book that would really only be of interest to me anyway. So that being the case, I'll keep it short and just point out a few things that struck me today...
It was really cool to have have three generations of family represented to support Beej today. Our family is blessed to have one another.
Seeing Jim today reinforced to me what I already believed; that he's a good and caring man, with his heart and priorities in the right place. I'm glad Beej found him. I really couldn't wish for more in a guy to trust to take care of my baby sister.
So I guess it's time for me to accept the facts. My little Buddy is all grown up. My pride runneth over.
