Chunky Click for Cans is a contest run every year by the Campbell's Soup Company. The idea is that you go to the contest web site and vote for your favorite NFL team. For the team with the most votes by the end of the contest (November 30), Campbell's will donate cans of Chunky soup and chili equal to the total weight of the team's official roster to a national food bank! To sweeten the pot this year, Campbell's will also donate an extra 2006 cans to the food bank chosen by the team that shows the most improvement in clicks from last year.
For the record, the Green Bay Packers have won this contest the past three consecutive years, and are currently in the lead again so far this year. Pittsburgh Steeler fans have rallied in the past few weeks to tighten the race, but Packer fans have held on to the lead so far. Although you can only vote once per day, there's nothing stopping you from voting multiple days. But you'd better hurry, there's only 10 days left, so go out and vote for your team today.
Campbell's should be commended for their generosity as they've averaged more than 5,000,000 cans of soup donated each of the past several years.
It's a worthy cause and it's completely free. Show your team support and help fight hunger at the same time.
