A great example of a good plan gone bad...

I took this picture a week or so ago from my second floor office window overlooking the backyard.
Heaven's cat Link loves going outside, especially since the snow's been falling. Although he climbs our tree pretty well, he obviously hasn't mastered negotiating those pesky branches yet. On this day I let him out, then closed the slider and went back upstairs to my office. Before sitting down at my desk, I looked out and saw him laying on a branch relaxing. When he decided to turn around, he lost his back footing. Luckily my camera was on the desk beside me. I was laughing out loud while I snapped several shots of his struggle. I must admit though, I was impressed. He kept his cool, held on, and gradually worked his way close enought to the tree trunk to latch on with his back claws. From there he simply climbed on down. He acted as if nothing was out of the ordinary and went about his usual business of hopping around in the snow, and attacking any snow he managed to kick up..
BTW the background of the picture is a snow covered hillside. He's only about 10-12 feet off the ground.
Note: No cats (or stunt-cats) were harmed in taking this photo.
