Don't ask me to explain it, because I can't. But yes, this is my second LISP-related post in the past two weeks. Is it really any wonder still single?
newLISP is a LISP-like scripting language. If you're a fan of LISP, it makes for an interesting alternative to things like Batch files, CGI/Perl, VBScript, JScript, JavaScript, WinBatch, KiXtart, and others -- except it contains some unique built-in capabilities, like a genuine XML parser, database connectivity, and email functionality! In comparison to the more conventional implementations of LISP, newLISP's API has a very robust API designed with today's windowed graphic user interfaces and internet connectivity in mind.
Now I'm not so naive to believe that this post will improve the lives of everyone that visits my blog, but really the truth is that if I can improve the life of even one system administrator of programmer (sniffle), then the eight minutes it took me to write this post (sniffle) will all be worth it.
